FABIO BIANCO
Fabio Bianco was born in Mirano in 1971. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice and the Polytechnic of Valencia, Spain. Bianco's work proceeds through pictorial cycles, in which the subject is the protagonist on a par with colour. In Fabio Bianco's works colour is always the protagonist, a valid example are the cycles dedicated to interiors and theatres, the Flash series, Aboriginal Light or the very recent Red Point and Jungle. Fabio Bianco is not only an excellent painter, but also a complete artist: memorable is the site specific installation "Business+", presented by Documenta Kassel 2012, in which he painted the indexes of world stock exchanges on huts placed in the street during the event. An art therefore not only decorative, but also of social criticism. Equally significant is the experience of the newspaper-project (in everyday style) that Bianco curates and publishes periodically. In addition to his participation in Documenta 2012, in recent years he has exhibited several times in Italy (in 2011 he participated in the Venice Biennale) and in various countries around the world (United States, Japan, Germany, Russia, Finland, Bulgaria). He is represented by a very small number of galleries in Italy and around the world. He lives and works in Venice.
