Founded in Arezzo in 1969, the Piero Della Francesca Art Gallery is now \none of Europe\u2019s oldest galleries. Over the course of its history, it has\n organised exhibitions featuring great masters of the 20th century and \ncontemporary artists, becoming a key destination for contemporary art \nenthusiasts. The gallery features a large exhibition space (located in a\n picturesque side street off Corso Italia, the main street in the \nhistoric city centre), where not only solo, group and themed exhibitions\n are held, but also events such as \u201cProspettive d\u2019Arte Contemporanea\u201d \n(the first edition of which dates back to 1973). The gallery\u2019s \nexhibition programme features regular exhibitions in which works by \nleading masters of the past and present are presented alongside pieces \nby emerging artists.
